Quality Merchandise Associates formely known as Quality Tutors was founded in 1994 by Dr. M. I. Bash (Man B) and his partner, Kehinde Alabi (Man K), as a tutorial center for GCE, SSCE, JME, etc. with the sole aim of having their own university one day. The duo, Dr. M. I Bash and Kehinde Alabi were called “Man B and “Man K” because of their flair for Mathematics (MAN means Mathematics Association of Nigeria).

Dr. M. I Bash is a graduate of Statistics (Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin). He holds a B.Sc degree in Economics (Ambrose Alli University), Master’s degree in Business Administration (Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, and a Doctorate degree (Ph.d) in Marketing Science from a reputable University, abroad. He started his career as a lecturer with Grace Polytechnic while he was a student in Kwara Polytechnic, Ilorin. He has been a seasoned lecturer with Lagos State Polytechnic, Safe Associate (ICAN School), Lagos and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology) Lagos Centre. While “Man B” moved to the educational sector because of his flair for education, “Man K”, a renowned Economist and a Chartered Accountant with a Master degree in Business Administration from a reputable institution abroad pitched his tent with the Financial Sector (now works with Oando Nigeria Plc.) as the Financial Manager.

It is worthy to note that QMA has produced more than 2,000 graduates from both AOCOED and LAUTECH with their affiliation programmes. Most of the graduates are at present, working in reputable companies within Nigeria and abroad.

QMA, because of its rich experience, has intimate links with reputable colleges and Universities within Nigeria and internationally.

ADENIRAN OGUNSANYA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, IJANIKIN.
QMA has been providing education for students who desire the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in the past five years under the aegis of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Ijanikin.

LADOKE AKINTOLA UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, OGBOMOSHO.
Having seen the wealth of experience displayed by QMA and its professional lecturers, LAUTECH gave QMA the licence to run Post-graduate and Master’s degree programmes in Shomolu, Lagos in 2006.

UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN (DLC)
The University of Ibadan is the latest of all institutions that opened wide its arm of partnership and co-operation to QMA to serve as a lauching platform in the provision of University Education for students within and outside the shores of Nigeria.
